The Central African Botanic Gardens and Arboreta Network (CABGAN) aims to support biodiversity conservation and cultural heritage in the Congo Basin.
The five major areas of operation are: documentation of national & regional plant diversity, conservation of plants diversity, sustainable use of plant diversity & equitable benefit sharing (CBD/ABS), promoting of education and culture in favour of plant diversity conservation and capacity building in conservation
