The Congo basin is home to the world’s second largest tropical rainforest in the world. The Congo Biodiversity Initiative (CBI) is an open knowledge platform providing a venue to people and organisations involved in the conservation, protection, sustainable use, and study of the unique biodiversity of this region.

Nicaise Amundala Drazo (Faculty of Sciences), under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Herwig Leirs (Antwerp University) , is finalising his study entitled ‘Écologie des populations des espèces des rongeurs champêtres dans une perspective de gestion d’espèces nuisibles aux cultures à Kisangani (RD Congo)’.
